Like it’s namesake, the American Halo Hosta is well known for its angelic appearence within a garden setting. The Hosta’s 24″ high by 40″ wide foliage is typically dark blue green, with irregular margins of yellow turning ivory white, seer suckered and strongly veined. Like other Giant Hosta cultivars, this hosta is slow to reach maturity but is well worth the wait. Gardners would do well to remember to give this hosta deep fertile soil plus plenty of water for a sublime growing experience.
A similar hosta plant to consider is Hosta Northern Halo.
