With a height of 6-8 inches and a spread of 12-18 inches, Baby Bunting hosta is one of the smaller varieties of hosta. Though low-growing, its round, corrugated, blue-gray leaves form a dense mound that’s easy on the eye. As the season progresses from spring to summer, the leaves of Baby Bunting hosta change their color from blue-gray to dark green.
Hosta Baby Bunting blooms lily-like pale lavender flowers on 15″ scapes in mid-summer. A hybrid of H. ‘Rough Waters’, Baby Bunting hosta prefers partial to full shade garden spots. They are easy to maintain and grow and prefers well-drained moist soil. Baby Bunting hostas also display a decent tolerance towards multiple soil types with varying soil pH.
Besides their use as a ground cover in woodland gardens, borders, edges, Hosta Baby Bunting can also be grown in containers, tubs, and patio pots
There are a lot of mini hostas to choose from. Heres a look at Hosta Gemstone.
