1998 Hosta Plant of the Year, Fragrant Bouquet Hosta is a hybrid of Hosta Summer Fragrance and Hosta Fascination. It features chartreuse-green leaves with wide creamy-yellow margins. The leaves are oval and satiny. A mound of Hosta Fragrant Bouquet grows up to a height of 20-21 inches and has a spread of about 35-47 inches.
One of its noticeable features are the large, funnel-shaped, near-white flowers that emanate a perceptible fragrance. The flowers bloom on 36-inch scapes in late summer. It requires low maintenance and can adapt well to partial and full shade. It attracts hummingbirds, and prefers well-drained and well-aerated soil.
