Hosta Love Pat is an excellent medium-sized selection. Its foliage grows up to 20″ in height and has a spread of about 30-40 inches. The leaves of Love Pat Hosta have a thick, seer-suckered texture. They are deeply cupped, nearly round and powdery rich blue in color. In midsummer, lily-like near-white flowers tower over Love Pat hosta mounds on 22″ scapes.
Like most other hosta varieties, Hosta Love Pat is an easy-to-grow and maintain and thrives well in partial to full shade. Love Pat is slug resistant and display good tolerance towards multiple soil types.
Love Pat Hosta can be used as a cut flower, or they can be grown along borders, woodland gardens, and even in tubs and containers.
