Perfect for edging a shady garden, the So Sweet Hosta has shiny, dark green leaves with irregular margins of yellow turning creamy white. In late summer, this variety of hosta blooms funnel shaped, pale lavender flowers that exude a very strong fragrance. The flowers grow on 30″ scapes.
The height of a mature So Sweet Hosta plant could be anywhere in between 14 to 22 inches, and its width range from 32 to 36 inches. The attractive spreading mounds of the So Sweet Hostas make an excellent ground cover when used in mass planting.
It prefers partial to full shade, and it is easy to grow and maintain. This variety of hosta needs constant moisture to achieve its full size and quality form. Division can be done in spring and fall.
